Doodle
A pair of designs for fashion school products, from Back to School season 2012 for Canada's Hillroy Brand. The challenge here was to create a customizable notebook that encourages pre-teens to color in the blank spaces, but did not make it feel too youthful like a coloring book. There are two offerings, one that lends itself to the ever popular gamer genre. The feminine design then appeals to the more crafty. The kind of kid that would enjoy "doodling" on this cover, might also like to make crafts when they're not daydreaming in class!
